QB Trent Steelman, Army Sr.
Steelman has been the face of Army football during the Rich Ellerson era.
RB Raymond Maples, Army Jr.
Maples was the third sophomore in Army's history to rush for over 1,000 yards (1,066) in a season.
RB Gee Gee Greene, Navy Sr.
Greene has started 25 consecutive games. In 2011 he ran for 501 yards and caught four touchdown passes.
FB Larry Dixon, Army So.
The powerful Dixon had a terrific freshman year averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
WR Brandon Turner, Navy Sr.
Turner was the Mids big play threat at wide receiver averaging 21.4 yards and scoring 3 touchdowns.
WR Mikel Hunter, Air Force Sr.
Hunter averaged 17.4 yards per catch and caught two touchdowns.
OL Jason Kons, Air Force Sr.
Kons has started the last two years at tackle and is the Falcons best returning lineman.
OL Frank Allen Army Sr.
Allen is a three year starter and a rock of stability for the Black Knights at left guard.
C Ryan Powis Army So.
Powis dominated at times as a plebe and was named to the Remington Watch List as a sophomore.
OL Josh Cabral, Navy Sr.
Cabral has started the last 25 consecutive games at left guard and is easily the Mids best lineman.
OL Andrew Barker, Navy Sr.
The athletic Barker will start at right tackle this fall after starting six games at left tackle in 2011.
DE Jarrett Mackey Army Sr.
Army's senior legacy captain Jarrett Mackey returns from last fall's knee injury.
DL Nick Fitzgerald, Air Force So.
Physical Falcon sophomore Nick Fitzgerald made 24 tackles last year.
DL Barry Dabney, Navy Jr.
Dabney is a 6-1, 297 pound nose guard who won the starting job this spring.
DE Wes Henderson, Navy Sr.
Henderson played in nine games in 2011. He posted a sack and recovered three fumbles.
LB Alex Means, Air Force Sr.
The Falcons' best player in 2011. He made 77 tackles and posted six sacks last season.
LB Matt Warrick, Navy Sr.
Warrick was named First-Team All-Independent Team in 2011.
LB Brye French, Navy Sr.
French moved inside this spring and was the Mids best defensive player during spring camp.
CB Chris Miller, Air Force Jr.
Miller spent most of last season as the Falcons nickle back and he made 23 tackles.
S Anthony Wooding, Air Force Jr.
Wooding split time at strong safety last year as he recorded 57 tackles.
S Tra'vres Bush, Navy Sr.
Bush was named All-East last year. Bush made two interceptions and scored a touchdown.
CB Josh Jackson, Army Sr.
Jackson will enter his third season as the Black Knights starting cornerback.
David Baska, Air Force Jr.
Junior punter David Baska led all service academy punters averaging 40.8 yards per punt.
Parker Herrington, Air Force Sr.
Herrington made 15 of 18 field goal attempts last year.
QB Trey Miller, Navy Jr.
Miller's dual threat ability wins over Air Force's Connor Dietz speed in a close call.
RB John Howell, Navy Sr.
Howell is a proven home run threat with excellent speed.
RB Jared Hassin, Army Sr.
A battle of converted fullbacks. Hassin in a close one over the Falcons Wes Cobb.
FB Mike DeWitt, Air Force Sr.
DeWitt production (12 TDs) earns a slight nod over Navy's talented new FB Noah Copeland potential.
WR Matt Aiken, Navy Jr.
Aiken made 13 receptions for 201 yards (15.5 avg.) and scored two touchdowns.
WR Ty MacArthur, Air Force Jr.
MacArthur demonstrated big play ability in a reserve role in 2011.
OL Graham Vickers, Navy Jr.
A returning starter who is athletic, strong and moves well.
OL Jordan Eason, Air Force Sr.
The experienced Eason has earned academic All Mountain West honors.
C Michael Husar, Air Force Jr.
The highly regarded Husar moves into the starting center role for the Falcons
OL Jake Zuzek, Navy So.
Navy's new right guard is incredibly powerful and strong. He can bench press over 500 pounds.
OL Michael Kime, Army Jr.
The versatile Kime has battled injuries. He beat out Powis for the center job in the 2011 opener.
DE Zach Watts, Army Sr.
Watts recorded three sacks last year and was one of Army's better defensive players.
DL Joe Champaign, Air Force So.
Champaign demonstrated some ability when he played defensive end as a freshman.
DL Holt Zalneraitis, Army Jr.
Zalneraitis was moved from tackle to defensive end. He made 1 1/ 2 sacks in the spring game.
DE Collin Sturdivant, Navy Sr.
Senior Collin Sturdivant is a converted outside linebacker who can pressure the passer.
LB Geoffrey Bacon Army So.
Bacon (60 tackles, 1 interception returned for a 70-yard TD) played well as a plebe Mike linebacker.
LB Austin Niklas, Air Force Sr.
Niklas posted 35 tackles, including four for a loss in a backup role last fall.
LB Nate Combs, Army Sr.
Last year Combs finished the year with 37 tackles and tied for the team lead in sacks.
CB Steffon Batts, Air Force Jr.
The former All-State performer played well in 13 games last fall as a back-up cornerback.
S Chris Ferguson, Navy So.
Had an impressive plebe year winning the job at free safety and picking off two passes.
S Hayden Pierce, Army So.
Pierce (32 tackles, 1 pass defensed) had a very solid plebe year starting ten games.
CB Parrish Gaines, Navy So.
Gaines started five games at boundary cornerback as a plebe and should improve this year.
Chris Boldt, Army Sr.
Boldt averaged 39.8 yards per punt. He can drive the ball at times like when he nailed one 72 yards.
Dan Grochowski, Army Fr.
Grochowski had an excellent season last year at USMAPS and will likely win the job.
