NAME: David Baska

POSITION: P

CLASS: SR

HT/WT: 6-2, 182

OVERVIEW: The Michigan Wolverines certainly will remember Air Force's David Baska. On September 8, 2012 in the second quarter at humongous Michigan Stadium with Air Force facing a fourth-and-3 at its own 17, Baska boomed a punt that traveled 71 yards before being downed at the Michigan 12. Air Force went on to give Michigan the fight of its life before falling 31-25.

Baska was also selected as the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week on October 15 after his performance in the win at Wyoming. In that game Baska had four punts for a 42.5 yard average including a long boot of 51 yards. Another Baska punt against the Cowboys was downed on the 1-yard line.

Baska also had punts travel 55 yards versus Colorado State and 53 yards against New Mexico.

PROJECTION FOR 2013: Starter. A solid player with experience, Baska should again provide quality punting for the Falcons.
