COMMENTS

Utah State had a banner year in 2012 finishing No. 1 in the WAC and winning 11 of 13 ball games. Although the Aggies lost their head coach, they retain the offensive coordinator, Matt Wells, who is a 1996 graduate of USU. Wells is positioned for success in his first season as the Aggies return the bulk of starters on both sides of the ball. On offense USU returns quarterback Chuckie Keeton, senior center Tyler Larsen and senior offensive tackle Eric Schutlz who each earned All-WAC honors last season. Defensively the Aggies return an incredible six all-league players to an unit that ranked seventh nationally in scoring defense.
