It was another in a long line of big games for the Falcons this year. This time they had to prove they could come back from a heart-breaking loss to UNLV on Nat'l TV. They did, in convincing fashion, beating the 'Pokes 83-71 at Clune. Now starts the 2nd half of the conference run. | |||

Yes, now is yet another test for these Mountain (West) taming Falcons. Tonight at Clune arena against Colorado State begins the re-match against all those MWC teams the Falcons have brought down this year. Only one, the UNLV Rebels was able to escape the steam rolling Falcons from making it a 1st round sweep of the conference. The Falcons will get the Rebels at Clune arena not too far down the road. This game against CSU will again test the metal the mighty Falcons as each MWC team will want a piece of the Falcons in the form of a win, a revenge win if you will. Most all the teams the Falcons have beaten have said they deserved the win, that Air Force has a good style and good players to match the good coaching. But to a team, it may be a good bet they are embarrassed to have the once bottom feeding Falcons beat them and so convincingly. So expect each and every conference game from here on out to be fast and furious with each team believing they know the secret to beating the Falcons and they will go down hard proving it. Below are a few stories from around the college scene pertaining to the Falcons basketball prowess, enjoy! Falcons
