| In 2006 Ryan missed the entire year due to an Academy probation for violation of Academy standards. He returned from his probation in January and is eligible to represent the Academy in outside activities, including football.
In 2005, his freshman year, Ryan was the kicker and punter on the junior varsity. He played in the TCU and UNLV games as the kickoff specialist and kicked a 44-yard field goal in the annual Blue-Silver Spring game.
Much was expected of Ryan last year before his probation but he has kept his desire and should be a big play maker for the Falcons in '07.
